Orchestra Hoodies Can Be Ordered Now!!Click HereHoodie Forms and Money are due by Friday, January 20th.McCants Glenview Perform Their Winter Concert on Tuesday, December 13th at Glenview in the Auditorium at 7pm!Our winter concert will be this Tuesday, December 13th at Glenview. Students need to be there by 6:20pm so we can tune and get into place. The dress is concert black and students may wear santa hats. Guys may also wear Christmas ties if they would like. McCants and Glenview Strings Students Perform at the Glenview Dedication on Sunday, November 6th at 2pm in the Glenview Auditorium!There is an article in the Anderson Independent about the dedication. After School Rehearsals to help Prepare for Dedication.We will have after school rehearsals from 4:30-6pm on:
Thursday, October 27th Wednesday, November 2nd Thursday, November 3rd Friday, November 4th
We will rehearse on stage at Glenview. If you are a 7th or 8th grade strings student and have played for at least one year, please come to the rehearsals. Welcome Back!!Welcome back to my former students and welcome to my new students! This year I will be divided between Glenview and McCants. So on "A days" I will be at McCants and on "B days" I will be at Glenview. When we have concerts we will have them in the Glenview Auditorium (It is beatiful!!). I am looking forward to a great year with a great deal of concert opportunities for everyone. The fist concert that is coming up is All-County Orchestra. You're welcome to take a look at the orchestra calendar to see when everything will happen. I look forward to seeing everyone very soon! Next Europe Trip Meeting is Tuesday, August 30th in the Glenview AuditoriumThe first part of the this meeting begins at 6:30pm and is for students and parents interested in signing up for the Europe Trip. The second part of the meeting for students and parents already signed up to discuss many things like fundraisers, getting to the airport, and much much more. |

Beginner 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Concert is on Tuesday, February 7th at 7pm in the Glenview Auditorium!Congratulations to This Year's All-County Students!The Anderson All County Orchestra, which includes strings students from Anderson School Districts One and Five, performedon October 15th in Daniel Recital Hall on the campus of Anderson University.
Over 250 strings students auditioned for the All County Orchestra, and only about half that number were chosen.

The following McCants Middle School Orchestra students were selected:
Mabel Kitchens, violin; Elizabeth Walker, viola; Sam Eaves, Katie Hammond, and Frances Hardaway, cello; and Houston Kelley and Leon Tate, bass.
