What a great trip!! We had a blast going to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Leichtenstein. Here are a few of the things we saw on the trip.

Here we are in the Black Forest in Germany at a cuckoo clock shop.

This is from just outside our hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland.

In one of the gardens in Salzburg, Austria.

Liechtenstein in front of the information sign.

Löwendenkmal a monument carved for 200 Swiss soldiers that died protecting the French king.

Lucerne, Switzerland

Inside one of the churches in Lucerne, Switzerland.

On a boat heading towards Mount Pilatus.

On the steepest cog wheel train in the world heading up the mountain.

The view from Mount Pilatus.

From the top of the mountain.

At the top of Mount Pilatus.

Some mountain goats near the top of the mountain.

In front of Neuschwanstein Castle in Füssen, Austria.
I had shown a power point presentation of what we are going to see as well. All the information I took from Wikpedia as well as the pictures. You can click here to see that.
Our next and last fundraiser for the Germany trip is going to be the yard sale on Saturday, May 23rd. Please collect your yard sale items. To be able to tell everyone's items apart we will place stickers with each person's initials on them. As items are sold we will take the sticker off and place it under that person's name.
Back in 2006, I went to Bavaria with Ron Jonson, the former assistant band director at McCants. We visited many of the same places that we are planning to see for our Germany trip in the summer of 2009. To see pictures and video from my trip of these places just click the the name of the place.
