Cello Choir
September 28-29, 2007

This is a wonderful opportunity for cello players on any level to visit the University of South Carolina and participate in a weekend of fun. There are orchestras made up of only celli (1st celli, 2nd celli, viola-celli, bass-celli). Since the instrument has the widest range out of the string instruments, it creates a unique sound as the only instrument of the orchestra.
We had 6 cellist from McCants play in the cello choir this year:
Candace Cho
Katheryn Pierce
Alyssa Goodwin
Alden Cobb
Jameson Smith
Tyler Stribling
They all had a great time and learned a lot. I think their favorite piece was "Bile 'em Cabbage Down".
